URGENT HIRING:
Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of students? Are you subbing but looking for something more consistent? Huntington Learning Center is hiring dynamic phonics and reading tutors to teach small group, elementary levels in person at Columbus area schools during the school day. This is NOT a remote position. You must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
POSITION DETAILS:

Huntington Learning Center is hiring dynamic phonics and reading tutors to teach small group, elementary levels in person at Columbus area schools during the school day. This is NOT a remote position. You must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Part-Time: 20-35 hours a week, Monday-Friday, hours and days may vary.
- Location: IN PERSON.
- Elementary School-aged students, ELA.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED.
- Prior teaching experience PREFERRED.
- Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.
COMPENSATION:
- With Bachelors Degree only: $25.00 per hour.
- With valid Teaching Certification: up to $30.00 per hour, commensurate with credentials and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
- Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
- Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
Other Requirements:
- Adhere to Huntington Learning Center’s mission statement that Every Child Can Learn.
- Possess computer literacy skills for maintaining student records.
- Must clear background checks for employment eligibility.
